This fall has been a roller coster for us photographers. From the drought bringing color earlier than normal, to the random bursts of downpours. Elizabeth's senior session is one that I will never forget. We were dealing with an incredibly tight timeline. As in, the day we first met for our pre consultation was already a couple of days past the turn in due date for senior pictures in the yearbook. I always claim to be fast, but this one was going to put it to the test. We met Friday, scheduled pictures for Saturday morning (aka the next day) and I had the photos done and ready to order on Monday. Not to mention the two other photoshoots I already had scheduled for that weekend. But we made it work! I pulled up early to the parking lot in a downpour. By some miracle it started to rain softer at the start time of our shoot, but it was still raining, none the less. Midway through we were done hugging the treeline and just embraced the wet ant the rain. It was so much fun! You can see the drops on Elizabeth's face and see the rain in the photos and it is beautiful. Elizabeth is amazing and is not only an ice skater, but a dancer as well. We used that to our advantage and ended the shoot with the best "singing in the rain" dancing ever! Elizabeth was amazed at the amount of images we were able to get in the 45 minutes we shot. I am so excited to see them all in her album that I designed. They are ever bit as beautiful as Elizabeth is, inside and out.
