Park City! I don't know how it has taken me this long to do a session on main street, but I fiiiiinally got to do one! Now I want to go back and do some more there! Every shop and doorway is so unique and full of character! If we weren't chasing the light (and I wasn't 7 months pregnant) I would've gladly photographed at every doorway and wall. Every last full week of April the Robbins side of the fam head up the canyon for a little staycation. This year was extra special since we were able to see so many family members and spend the first real quality time with them since the pandemic. My nephew, JJ graduates this year and we were able to document him and his achievements while strolling down historic Main Street. Since he's my nephew, I have to brag a bit. Not only did JJ make it to state for swimming, but he finished and passed an EMT course all while graduating early during his senior year that he had to move from Lehi to St. George halfway through the year. It's hard enough to change schools during the year, but throw in a pandemic, senior year festivities and all the extra curricular activities and man, is this kid a trooper or what?! I love taking pictures of seniors - especially when I'm their aunt. We spend our session chatting and talking and really get some quality time together. While we were shooting, right off the bat I get JJ all posed up and check to make sure my light is good when a car full of teen girls slowly drives by, honks and whistles. I was perfectly timed with my light check and I got some real good smiles from JJ! Ha! JJ is such a genuine, kind, young man who will go far. I can't wait to see where life takes him and all that he'll accomplish!
