On Sunday my little chub turned one month old! It's crazy to think it's been that long and yet I can't imagine what life was like without him here! When Remington was a few days old I set up my make shift "studio" to take his newborns with. One of my favorite parts of my bedroom is the sliding glass door that lets in so much light! It's a photographer's dream! I love the look of simple, lifestyle newborns, so I just unmade my bed to have only a white sheet covering it. I also can't help myself and love photos with stories behind them. For Remmy, that meant using the swaddle and play mat I made. Accompanying them were a few ferns that I had pressed and not used when making the artwork for his nursery. These little ferns were picked from Oregon and traveled all the way to Utah just to be apart of Remmy's room and aide in my "mountain" theme. (Plus also tie in a bit of my roots.) We spent about a half an hour to 45 minutes shooting Remington's newborns, and just as Rem was about done, I brought in the brothers! Jones and Fields loooove their baby brother and especially loved that I let them hold him for a few pictures. Fields' smile is about the cutest thing! I love how much they already love each other. The picture where Jones and Fields are giggling and looking at each other was like a glimpse into the future with all the trouble and fun these three are going to get in! Enjoy scrolling through a few of my favorites from the shoot!
