The Zeiglers were my first official shoot back from maternity leave and it was honestly everything I could’ve hoped it would be. I had amazing light, new-ish location, beautiful family, ah! It was perfect! We planned the session at the Gloria Falls trailhead - and it was my first time shooting here in the summer. I loved it! So much green! The aspens were amazing! We started off by taking a trail towards a clearing I had found. Asher, the oldest, was very vocal about his desire to “not hike!” Despite our best attempts at convincing him we “weren’t hiking,” he couldn’t be persuaded. His entire argument was the fact that we were at a trailhead, on the path, HIKING! Hahaha! He did have a point. Elenor was so cute and was very proud of her poses she picked out herself. They even humored my terrible jokes I pulled out. By the end of the shoot both kids were trying to hide how much they liked having their picture taken. The Zeiglers are such a fun and beautiful family and I loved getting to photograph them up the canyon! They ended up getting my glass folio box full of 5x7’s and a few large wall art prints of each of the kids, family picture and kids together. I am so excited for them to be able to display them in their beautiful home! Enjoy my favorites from their shoot!
